Robber Barons 50, Dirty Dogs 25
"Cut that meat, cut that meat." Too much Manning, Ward, and Randy "Straight Cash Homey" Moss for the ODD to handle. With the Pipers and Lakers winning this week, it's a must-win scenario for the ODD next week vs. the Stonecutters.

Lightning 39, Screaming Eagles 18
The Screagles are slipping at an inopportune time, but it's not too late to salvage the season. A win would do it. The Lightning have scored under 30 points just once this season, a 13-11 squeaker over the Commies. The WTFFL's first ever undefeated regular season is on the line next week.

Pongos 52, Apocalypse 36
In the last two match-ups vs. the Pongos, the Apocalypse have averaged only 10 points per game. They broke out of their scoring slump, but it wasn't enough against Big Ben and the rest of the Apes. The Apocalypse need a win next week to secure a playoff spot. The opponent: Roseville "Undefeated" Lightning.

Pipers 22, Showboats 5
As much as the Showboats are looked down on throughout the league, some folks in the Loeb organization were really hoping they would pull this one out of their ass. Instead, the Pipers won their third game the season with under 25 points. This was the first single-digit effort this season for the 'Boats. It's a must-win for the Pipers vs. the Speed next week.

Speed 34, Neandertals 12
"Playoffs! Playoffs?" The Speed are 3-0 vs. the Neandertals over the last four years, beating them by an average score of 38-13. A good game from Gostkowski helped continue this week's trend: The Speed are in a must-win situation to make the playoffs, AND will need help from the Lightning and Robber Barons to keep their playoff hopes alive. Will the studs of the league lend a hand to help make up for beating on the Twin Cities this year? Better still, can the Speed gather up another improbable win vs. the Pipers?

Lakers 43, Buzz 25
Not to beat a team when they're down, but the Buzz have failed to break the 20-point barrier in four of the last five weeks. They gave the Lakers a little show this week, but it didn't matter to a rejuvenated Travis Henry, who found it in his heart to own up to that first-round draft pick. Is there any surprise with this next statement: It's a must-win for the Lakers vs. the Pongos next week.

Alley Cats 28, Bunnies 26
Front came up just short, as Romo, per usual, led the way for the Alley Cats with yet another double-digit performance. Front is 0-2 vs the Cats over the last four years with the average score sitting at 25-29.
