Home of the Oakland A's and Raiders football. Saturday we watched Oakland play the New York Yankees. Yep, I saw Derek Jeter, A-Rod, and all the other expensive Yankees beat down one of our Bay Area teams, the Oakland A's.

Downtown Oakland

After a quick baseball game and one interesting BART ride later, we ended up in downtown Oakland for the "2005 Art and Soul Festival" where we watched a damn great performance by Lyrics Born.

Stinson Beach

There are just too many photos from this place. Stinson Beach is located on Highway 1, just north of San Francisco. The drive alone is breath-taking. Two years later I'm still shocked that I live here!

Marin Headlands

Marin Headlands begins above the entrance to the Golden Gate Bridge. With no fog and clear skies, the bridge and all points beyond were picture perfect.
